Waigolshausen 2016

The parish of Waigolshausen St. Jakobus d.Ä. had to demolish its church, which was only 50 years old, due to serious structural damage.

A new church was built in a modern and very appealing design. After completion of the church, a new organ could be built and installed by our organ building company in consultation with the diocese. Originally, only an electronic organ was planned for the new location. In order to make the best use of the available space, all the works were placed on a wind chest. The pipework is now about three metres above the floor. This is very beneficial for the sound radiation in the sensitive room. To optimise the sound, four sub- and supercouplers were installed, which give the instrument an extraordinary sound volume. In addition, the organ was equipped with a setting system.
