Karlburg am Main 2019

For the parish in Karlburg am Main, a long-awaited dream came true shortly before Christmas.

Due to a reconstruction of a church in Schweinfurth, the existing choir organ of the Sandtner company with 6 stops and attached pedal was no longer needed. Through the initiative of diocesan music director Mr. Gregor Frede, a new place was quickly found for the organ in the church in Karlburg. The organ was extended by a second manual and an independent pedalboard before it was moved. The extensions were made with electrically controlled slider chests. The stop Principal 8' was placed on a single tone chest and can be played in all three movements.

The new organ case was designed discreetly and in the style of the choir organ.
